TerrainThe table was layout as shown in the picture, with the ruin city on the right flank. Then there are ruin sections spread across the table. This also applies to the hills. There is a ruin moment on the lower left side of the table.
DEPLOYMENTWell deployment was pretty straight forward, as shown in the pictures below. I deploy my scouts in the ruin city near the objective marker and on over watch. The Tyranids had two teleporting units. Which were the LICTOR SWARM and SUBTERRANEAN SWARM.
Turn 1The Tyranids win the initiative and move first(The Eldar rolled 1 and Tyranids rolled 5). They marched moved the NORMAL ASSAULT SWARM into the ruin city just out of the ZOC of the eldar scouts. They Tyranids then pass it over to the Fir Iolarion Titan Clan, which double moved a REVENANT TITAN HOST and fire their weapons at the NORMAL ASSAULT SWARM, missing with all shots(I rolled 4 1’s) and so move back. Then the Tyranids move BIG ASSAULT SWARM up to a rock hill /out crop to claim objective marker. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan move its WARLOCK TITAN, on to the hill and only remembering after moving it was short range. Then the Tyranid moves the HARASSMENT SWARN up into the ruins that contain a objective marker. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan double move the PHANTOM TITAN and take a long rang shot at the DOMINATRIX SWARM unit, giving it a blast marker, and the tyranid make their save(thank god for reinforce armour ). The tyranids then reorganised the NEST SWARM on the Eldar right flank on the stepping hill, so to bring the artillery into range.The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan move REVENANT TITAN HOST on the right flank into range of the NORMAL ASSAULT SWARM in the ruin city, hitting three lesser creatures for one blast marker. The tyranids try and move their DOMINATRIX SWARM needing three or better due to having blast markers and they roll a 1 and so use the supreme commander roll and make it on the second roll, double moving it up to shoot the PHANTOM TITAN, so 12 shoots were fired and 6 hit. The make all but one save and the critical roll was a 6, so the PHANTOM TITAN lost its holo field. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan double move REVENANT TITAN HOST(Sonic Lances), so that it can see some of the BIG ASSAULT SWARM up on the rock hill /out crop. After the smoke clears, they end up with 6 blast markers. The tyranids then roll to move the BIG BRUTE SWARM and roll a one and so it doesn’t move. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan, roll for the GUARDIAN TROUPE and they are fine, so they are pop on over watch.The tyranids then try and active the other NEST SWARM and roll a one. The end phase the Tyranids remove blast makers off all units excepted the NORMAL ASSAULT SWARM and DOMINATRIX SWARM. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan remove all blast markers excepted the PHANTOM TITAN.
Turn 2The Tyranids deploy their LICTOR SWARM in the ruins on the Fir Iolarion Titan Clan right flank. They roll dice and get a blast marker.
The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan win the initiative and move first(The Eldar rolled 1 and Tyranids rolled 4, which was tie and so Eldar go first since Tyranids won turn 1). They started with the REVENANT TITAN HOST in front of the ruins and they target the LICTOR SWARM and do a blast marker for the troubles. The tyranids fire the NEST SWARM with the biovores at the scouts in the ruins, killing two and so adding three blast markers. The scout hold their ground. Then the Fir Iolarion Titan Clan, shoot with the PHANTOM TITAN, targeting the DOMINATRIX SWARM and managers to kill one of giant bugs and almost kills the Dominatrix(1 pit off on a critical) and the units has 5 blast markers added.The tyranids then use the HARASSMENT SWARN to shoot the PHANTOM TITAN. The PHANTOM TITAN makes all it’s saves. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan double move the REVENANT TITAN HOST(Sonic Lances), to were it can shoot the BIG ASSAULT SWARM, after the smoke clears there are few less bugs and 5 more blast markers. The Tyranids then double move the BIG BRUTE SWARM, so that on the hill in front of the REVENANT TITAN HOST(Sonic Lances), so they fire all 26 dice at the unit, getting 6 hits. The REVENANT TITAN HOST(Sonic Lances) make all, but one save so take a hit. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan double move the WARLOCK TITAN, so that it just in front of the ruins with the HARASSMENT SWARN and opens fire with very thing, killing a pile of bugs for 1 blast marker. The tyranids open fire with the other NEST SWARM at the WARLOCK TITAN and the Titian make all it’s saves. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan move a REVENANT TITAN HOST, so that near the ruins with the LICTOR SWARM and shoots, killing one and so adding two blast markers. The tyranids then engaged the WARLOCK TITAN, with the DOMINATRIX SWARM and a bloody round of hand to hand combat happen, the WARLOCK TITAN lost the combat and retreated back 50cms and had lost 4 DC’s and two of those was from a critical hits. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan leave the GUARDIAN TROUPE on overwatch. The tyranids send the NORMAL ASSAULT SWARM into hand to hand combat with the scouts in the ruin. The scouts manage to kill two of the lesser bugs, so add one blast marker. The assault was quick and and the scouts were wipe out to a man and the supporting REVENANT TITAN HOST takes a blast marker. The end phase the Tyranids remove blast makers off all units excepted the NORMAL ASSAULT SWARM and DOMINATRIX SWARM. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan remove all blast markers excepted the PHANTOM TITAN. They fail to rally the WARLOCK TITAN and takes another hit and double moves.
Turn 3The Tyranids deploy their SUBTERRANEAN SWARM on the hill in Front of the GUARDIAN TROUPE. They roll dice and get a blast marker.
The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan win the initiative and shoot the REVENANT TITAN HOST(Sonic Lances), at the BIG ASSAULT SWARM and kill nothing in the process.The tyranids active the BIG BRUTE SWARM and shoot the REVENANT TITAN HOST(Sonic Lances), firing 26 dice and getting 7 hits. The REVENANT TITAN HOST(Sonic Lances), fail enough saves that one is destroyed out right and the other flees, since having too many blast markers. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan fire at the DOMINATRIX SWARM, using the PHANTOM TITAN. Killing another giant bug and wounding the Dominatrix. The tyranids activate the NEST SWARM on their right and find they are out of range just. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan then move and shoot the REVENANT TITAN HOST at the LICTOR SWARM, killing another Lictor and breaking the unit, which double move back to their base line through the ruin city. The Tyranids active their other NEST SWARM and find that its in range of a REVENANT TITAN HOST, after the barrage clears there is one destroyed titian and the other is fleeing(ok shit saves didn’t help the cause). The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan then double move a REVENANT TITAN HOST into the ruin city were it can shoot at targets that damaging. It manages to add two blast markers to the unit. The tyranids then engage the REVENANT TITAN HOST in the ruin city with the NORMAL ASSAULT SWARM. So the short story is after four turns of close combat, the REVENANT TITAN HOST win, but are broken since they have lost a titian. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan leave the GUARDIAN TROUPE on overwatch. Tyranids then move the DOMINATRIX SWARM into close combat with the PHANTOM TITAN. The DOMINATRIX SWARM wins the combat, by so much that the PHANTOM TITAN is wiped out. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan, have no more activations and so the rest of the turn is the Tyranids. The tyranids march move the BIG ASSAULT SWARM, so that it in between the two broken REVENANT TITAN HOST, making it harder to rally them at the end of the turn. Then they engage the GUARDIAN TROUPE, that’s on over watch. The GUARDIAN TROUPE support weapons manage to give 4 blast makers, the WE in the unit took a hit. The combat was one sided to a point, he wipe me out to a man, but I manage to get enough hits were he failed saves. So he won the combat but was broken. The end phase, the Tyranids didn’t rally the LICTOR SWARM, NORMAL ASSAULT SWARM. They remove blast makers off all units. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan rally the WARLOCK TITAN and fail to rally the REVENANT TITAN HOSTs. They remove all blast markers.
Turn 4The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan win the initiative and start the turn by double moving the WARLOCK TITAN and shooting the DOMINATRIX SWARM. After the smoke clears the Dominatrix is dead and the other two Bugs are running for the hills. The tyranids then engage the WARLOCK TITAN with the SUBTERRANEAN SWARM after the smoke clears from the close combat, both units are wipes out to a man. The WARLOCK TITAN did win the combat, but fail a save and took a wound and it only had one hit left. The Fir Iolarion Titan Clan then double move REVENANT TITAN HOST to the blitz marker so to cover it and shot at the BIG ASSAULT SWARM, placing a blast marker. The game was called at that point, the Tyranids had won.

Oh what strange game, the flow of the dice flowed both ways with good and bad. I’ve have never see so many combats were both sides would break. I’m look forward to the next game against the Tyranids. Yes IG it will be.
