Hi ALL,

Well here’s another Batrep for Kings of war….so it was 2000 points Orcs Vs Varangur…

Britt commanded the Orcs and I commanded the Varangur

Link below:

Few words from Britt:

Greg and I had another Kings of War, 2000 points each, game today. This is easily one of the closest, and certainly the bloodiest, KoW game I’ve ever played! ๐Ÿ‘
Greg had about a dozen units plus heroes, I had 13 plus Flag bearers. At game end on turn six, I had only two Flag Bearers and no units left while Greg had only 1 unit left plus some heroes. Talk about blood and guts๐Ÿ˜„!
Great game and great fun. Greg videoed the whole bloody spectacle.

Thanks for reading…...
Cheers

Hi ALL,

Well here’s our first Batrep for Kings of war made public…so it was 2000 points Orcs Vs Kingdom of men, Britt commanded the Orcs and I was in command of the Kingdom of men.

So, a few words from my opponent

Greg and I had another very fun (and funny๐Ÿคช) 2000 points game of Kings of War today. Greg fielded a Kingdoms of Men army, which had a good mix of infantry and cavalry, magic items and ranged attacks, and monster elephants. My Orcs were just Orcs with two small units of skulks (archers) which died fast. I tried using Orclings for the first time, and while not awesome, did their job. Good value for the points, but by game end, half were dead.

We rolled and got the kill scenario, meaning you get the points for each unit you kill. You must kill more than 10%( ie, 200 points than your opponent). Things started out badly and then got worse for the Orcs. Greg completely dominated the game until the end of turn 4. I’d lost two Orcling and two Skulks for no gain.

Then Greg had a bad run, and I caught up to him. From then on the fighting was intense all up and down the line, but now the Orcs had the upper hand, except for those ‘monster’ elephants of his, as shooting had decreased.

In the end, the Orcs won but it was close. A great afternoon of gaming and a good time had by all. ๐Ÿ˜„

Till next time...
Cheers
Greg...
