SPACE WOLVES 2.4.2 V’s Steel Legion (NetEA Army Compendium v20120208)

 

Well its Friday again. As always a game of epic was held at my place. 5000 points per side and it was SPACE WOLVES 2.4.2 V’s Steel Legion (NetEA Army Compendium v20120208).

Few word from the Space wolves commander:

Greg and I had another one of our 'Epic" 5000 points per side bashes of EA today, with the usual hysterical laughter, deep thought, and unbelievable good and bad luck that seems to characterize our games of Epic. It was great fun as well. There were times when my Wolfies couldn't hit anything, but the few hits they did score were kills since Greg was equally bad at saving rolls. What a game.
   My most memorable moment was when my Lander, loaded with Fenrisian Wolves set down behind the IG Hq. Easy pickings I thought, as these guys wear T-shirts for armor. What a fur ball, and when the dust settled the Lander was dead as were most of the Fenrisian Wolves with the few survivors fleeing into the ruins. Still, IG Hq was still for the rest of the game, so I guess they were as shocked as I was!
   We're using much more air power in our games than we used to, and this can make for a rapid change of fortune. Of course,  often they don't take Off at all staying at the O Club bar. My SC, on my right, made it all the way to my left where I had him guard my Blitz objective (nicknamed the O Club. My SC didn't want to miss "happy hour"!)
   All and all, a fun game and a most entertaining time had by all. This Tuesday should have my Orks vs some Space Wolves. I've gotta get painting my Grotz or they're gonna be grey discs again!
