Necrons Vs Codex Astartes

Well we manage another game of epic. It was 3000 point per side and it was between Codex Astartes and Necrons..

I played the Codex Astartes and Jim played the Necrons..

Ok I have been doing a excel spread sheet, were I just use a drop down list and choose, the army, formation and Orders etc. So the layout is different then I normal would do if using the Vassal. So yeah first test run.The idea is when doing games at tournaments or testing etc., can have IPad or device that can use excel spread sheet..so can write the report on the go and take few pictures of the game..Then can upload or transfer data into another program...

Summary

 

Well that went well not..I forgot about the bloody strike cruiser till well after the setup and so let it go..This would have allowed me to drop pod in two DEVASTATOR formations and take out the Pylon at the back and force Jim to take care of the formations..Oh well, live and learn..

 

Had to laugh when the THUNDERBOLT SQUAD took out the C’Tan..Oh the joys..

 

 

Over all it was a fun game..so look forward to the next Jim..
