Thousand sons(6.0.2) Vs Codex Astartes (NetEA Tournament Pack 2014)

Well we manage another game of epic. It was 3000 point per side and it was between Codex Astartes (NetEA Tournament Pack 2014) and Thousand Sons (6.0.2)

Trent played the Thousand Sons (6.0.2) and me and Britt Played the Codex Astartes (NetEA Tournament Pack 2014)

  • Thousand Sons do sustain fire with SILVER TOWER COMPANY(Photo1) and shoot the terminators, killing 2 and breaking the formation, which flees back to objective marker(Photo2)..was done to cut down on activations

Summary
 
OK not want I was expecting, just all the game was about shooting..
 
When I lost the SR on the first turn and had both the terminators broken, I thought it would be a tough game.I was lucky in that TS fail so critical activations and I manage to get a few confirmed critical…
 
I think Deceiver works in numbers, but may have hard time if used as singles due to suppression. The Thralls were interesting, having someone roll 5d3 to summon demons is well quite scary, I was lucky in that he only manage to get 9 points and enough to place is greater demon..But we will need to take them out more and see how they average out over a number of games..
