Turn 1
- Legio Gryphonicus won the SR and elected to let the Saim-Hann (4.2.2) go first….
- Saim-Hann do WRAITHSHIP(Photo1) and Barrage was used and it manage to land on the CRUSADER SCOUT MANIPLE, killing 1 and giving it a BM(Photo2)…well that went well
- Saim-Hann march move Hornets up left flank(Photo1)..getting ready next turn
- Legio Gryphonicus bring THUNDERBOLT SQUADRON and shoot Scout rider troupe,killing 2 and giving it 3 BM’s(Photo1)..was done to try, cut down on activates
- Saim-Hann double move Hornets up left flank(Photo1)..getting ready next turn
- Legio Gryphonicus double move WARHOUND up(Photo1) and shoots HORNETS, Killing 2 and breaking them due to BM’s, so they flee behind the hill in there deployment zone(Photo2)..was done to try, cut down on activates

- Saim-Hann win SR and go first..
- Saim Hann do a engage action with the Avatar and use his commander ability and bring in WILD RIDER CLAN WARHOST(M) and WILD RIDER CLAN WARHOST(LR) and targets the REAVER(Support from REAVER)(Photo1).The first round of combat was draw(Photo2).The second round of combat the Avatar(2DC)&WILD RIDER CLAN WARHOST(M) and WILD RIDER CLAN WARHOST(Broken), the Reaver is Broken and the supporting Reaver gets BM for failed assault(Photo3).The Reaver flees to the top of the hill and the Avatar(2DC)&WILD RIDER CLAN WARHOST(M), consolidate move forward and the WILD RIDER CLAN WARHOST(Broken) flees behind ruins(Photo4)..was done to clear area of ATML forces
- Saim Hann do a engage action with the SHINING SPEARS(support from avatar and WILD RIDER CLAN WARHOST)and target the REAVER(Photo1).The dice are rolled and the REAVER is the winner and the SHINING SPEARS is wiped from the board(Photo2) and the avatar breaks due to BM’s and fall back to the objective maker and the WILD RIDER CLAN WARHOST, gets a BM and target the REAVER(no shields, 2DC and 3BM’s) stays put(Photo3)….was done to clear area of ATML forces
- Saim-Hann move SoV up(Photo1) and shoot REAVER,doing 3 DC and breaking it due to BM’s, so it flees into the ruins(Photo2) and then move back, from where it started(Photo3)..was hoping to kill it
- Legio Gryphonicus does sustain fire action on REAVER(BTS)(Photo1) and shoots the WILD RIDER CLAN WARHOST (MEDIUM), giving them 7 BM’s(Photo2),..wanted to add BM’s to make it harder to activate..
- Legio Gryphonicus does sustain fire action on Warhound(Photo1) and shoots the SoV, giving them a BM(Photo2)…was hoping to break it..
- Saim-Hann do marshalling action with Scout rider troupe and so move and remove all BM’s(Photo1)..getting ready for next turn
- Saim-Hann move HORNETS do pop-up(Photo1) and shoot WAHOUND, taking 2 shields down and giving them a BM(Photo2)..placing BM’s..
- Saim-Hann fail to activate SoV(SC rerolled used), so take the BM and shoot the WARHOUND, giving it a BM(Photo1)..was hoping to make it harder to activate(great, so I can make armour saves, but not active this bloody formation.)

- Legio Gryphonicus does sustain fire action on REAVER(BTS)(Photo1) and shoots the WILD RIDER CLAN WARHOST (MEDIUM), killing 5 and breaking it, so it flees behind hill(Photo2)

Expert rider rule:..It feels fine to use and there were times when I wish it would work more, but feels about right.Dan didn’t have problem with it and thought it worked, since in the end the dice average out..
Scout Rider Troupe: They end up basically broken.. and then spent the hold Blitz or dying from strafing runs…
HORNETS: Again I think the 30 cm range on the hornets, feels about right. It does force you move the formation more.So where's before you may have done a single move, you are now doing a double move..So a bit more though into its deployment etc.
The reason this game was done was about concern brought up about the 10 cm counter charge rule..so some thought, questions…
Ok the first question is, if it’s issue why hasn’t come up in the UK SH. I image there would have been fair amount of feedback as it was going through the tournament scène and would have image if it was issue it would have been pick up in the play testing too. I see it’s has a win 11 - 34% lose 11 - 34% Draw 10 - 31% , but I notice it hasn’t been taken much..If it was advantage then it should have been used more by now, 31 games by the looks in 5 years…
I thought the formation of large wild riders between both list, would have big points difference and size, but they are the same in size and points roughly….Yes there are some differences in that UK doesn’t have wild riders and we do and the Farseer is CH in SH4.2 and it’s a infantry unit in UK list....The standard size is nine for the UK list and then you add the Farseer and three jetbike so you are 14 stands and cost about 425. Ok if we look at SH4.2, the same thing is 13 stands and is 425 points(but the Farseer is CH and we have add two upgrades of jetbikes), so could be 25points cheaper and you lose the Farsight ability..UK will be 375 points and lose the Farsight and 1 stand..
