Well It Friday and we manage another game of epic…So the following will be tested..
1) In the Strategy Phase of any turn place the Avatar within 15cm of a unit with the Farsight ability , before making a strategy roll. The Avatar counts as its own formation and may only enter play in this manner. In the End Phase of that turn remove the Avatar before rallying formations. Once the Avatar has been removed it may not return.
2) Swords of Vaul: Replace any number of Falcons with an equal number of Fire prisms for free.
3) Engine of Vaul: The second engine cost is now 200 points

The game was 3000 points and was between Biel-Tan Craftworld (NetEA 4.2) Vs.Legio Gryphonicus (NetEA v3.24)

- Biel-Tan Craftworld fail to active EoV and so regroup(Photo1)
- Legio Gryphonicus do engage action with Reaver& SKITARII DEMI-CENTURY and target the GUARDIAN WARHOST(Photo1) and the dice are rolled and the GUARDIAN WARHOST, lose the combat and is broken(Photo2). GUARDIAN WARHOST flees to the other side of the crater(Photo3) and The Reaver stays were it is and the SKITARII DEMI-CENTURY, consolidate around it and get 3 BM’s(Photo4).
- Legio Gryphonicus do engage action with Warlord and target the Warlock(Photo1).The warlord(No shields) wins the combat and the warlock is destroyed due to critical suffered(Photo2)(Yes 5 unsaved hits and I mange to roll 3 critical)
- Biel-Tan Craftworld move SoV(Photo1) and shoot REAVER, giving it a BM(Photo2)
- Biel-Tan Craftworld move SoV(Photo1) and shoot Warlord, giving it a BM(Photo2) and then moves back to were it came from(Photo3)

- Legio Gryphonicus do engage action with Reaver and target the EoV(Photo1) and the dice are rolled and the EoV, lose the combat and is wiped from the board. The Reaver stays were it is.
- Legio Gryphonicus move warhound(Photo1) and shoots SoV, killing two and breaking the formation due to BM’s, so it flees back to woods(Photo2)
- Biel-Tan Craftworld move SoV(Photo1) and shoot broken Warlord, doing a DC and taking a shield down(Photo2) and then move back form were it started from(Photo3)
- Biel-Tan Craftworld do sustain fire with EoV(Photo1) and shoot broken Warlord, doing nothing(Photo2)
- Biel-Tan Craftworld put War Walkers on overwatch(Photo1)
- Legio Gryphonicus move SKITARII DEMI-CENTURY and claims two objectives(Photo1)
- Legio Gryphonicus move Warhound(Photo1) and shoot war walker troupe, killing 1 and giving it 2 BM’s(Photo2)
- Legio Gryphonicus fail to activate CRUSADER SCOUT MANIPLE, so it breaks due to BM’s and so flees forward(Photo1)

Summary
Well that was very interesting game. Must say was not expecting to get three critical on the warlock and it was great help to the cause….
1) SoV- Ok still believe the “Replace any number of Falcons with an equal number of Fire prisms for free”. is the right way to go.
2) Warlock and farsight- Well the Avatar was no summon again……
3) EoV- Ok still believe the “The second engine cost is now 200 points ”. is the right way to go.
