Iyanden 4.2 V’s Codex Astartes (NetEA Tournament Pack 2014)..

 

Well it Thursday  and we manage another game of epic. It was 3000 point per side and it was between Iyanden 4.2 Vs. Codex Astartes (NetEA Tournament Pack 2014)..

Britt use the Codex Astartes and I used the Iyanden 4.2.

River was treated as marsh, for terrain.

Summary
 
That was fun…If we had gone to turn four, I may have pick 2 more points, if I was lucky…Britt, marching forces into my deployment zone, meant I need to clear them out and so basically put the battle plan behind a turn or turn or 2.
 
Ok onto other things..
 
1) WRAITHBLADE- Well the 3+ to hit and MW seams to help, although lacking a FF limited their use.
 
2) THE 1:2 CHANGE: OK its easy to build a list and makes the army seam little lest Iyanden themed. Now in saying that, I’ve have four games were I was using the 1:1 and there were lots of Wraithguard and I never had a problem building a list etc. Todays list had the Warlock, which was 850 points. I will be taking the list out again on Friday I hope…
 
3) The animated construct rule didn’t come into play again…
