On Friday the 5/12/2013, we manage to do a 8000 points aside battle. Start time was late, since we had to wait for someone and deployment was slow…… Three turns were done, with a win to the Scions of Iron…
Since it was a large battle and there was four players, we allowed each player two activations. So if the first player failed his first activation it went to his sub-commander. So the if he failed it pass to the other side. So this would allow the Scions of Iron a max of four activations and the Eldar six if they wanted too.

Deployment:
Turn one
- Eldar go first
- Revenant Titans shoot Land raider unit and Land raiders make their saves
- So to kill the bloody unit sent in air assault, with 6xHowling Banshees(Exarch). so after a wonder full round of combat, lose the fight to the Land raiders .
- So to kill the bloody unit sent in air assault, with 6xHowling Banshees(Exarch). This time the assault goes well and the Land raider is broken.
- Scions of Iron hit back, breaking a few units in the process .
- Airpower is great for taking out broken units .
- Scions of Iron then push up the middle of the board and turn into the flanks of some of the eldar units causing some damage.
- Scouts from both sides just dig in and wait for the torrent of artillery fire, but they received none.
- Both side mange to rally units and remove blast markers
Turn Two
- Scions of Iron go first……
- Eldar bring on the Avatar and stick it with the Autarch .
- Scions of Iron, manage to break at least three units, before they could be used.
- The eldar jump on the chance that the Scions of Iron missed and did assault against the Heavy Tactical Detachment(Supreme Commander in Prometheus). The assault was painful affair for the Heavy Tactical Detachment, losing the assault and breaking. The only two units were left in the unit.
- Eldar kept the pressure on and hit the Heavy Tactical Detachment(Supreme Commander in Prometheus), killing the last units using a phoenix bombers to do the job.
- Scions of Iron, manage to break Revenant Titans unit, sending it back to their deployment area. They then manage to break two more units .
- The second Land raider unit , takes a pile of hits, only to save everyone of them basically….
- Eldar do a fire fight with the Swords of Vaul Troupe and win combat against Vindicator Detachment …………..
- Both side mange to rally most of their units and remove blast markers again………….
Turn Three
- Scions of Iron teleport both Terminator Detachment near the Blitz, with one unit gaining a blast marker.
- Scions of Iron go first……
- Scions of Iron target any broken units they can and mange to wipe out two units.
- Eldar target the warhound unit and manage to kill one, which breaks the unit. forcing it back into the ruin city.
- Scions of Iron use one of their Terminator units and roll a one, doesn't matter. Since they manage to kill one of the Revenant Titans, this breaks the unit and it sent fleeing to the corner.
- The carnage falls on both sides, but the critical points is the breaking of the Chains of Vaul Troupe, which gives the Scions of Iron the Blitz marker. The eldar failing to activate a aspect unit(had a blast marker on it).
- Both side mange to rally most of their units and remove blast markers again.
- count of the victory condition showed that the Scions of Iron.
