Well finally we manage to get a Tuesday night game in, after a few weeks of interruptions. The scenario was as follows….
Trent played the Scions of Iron and Britt used the Emperor's Children….
Armies
This mission is fought between 3,000 points Of Force A and 4,000 points of Force B. Force B must include a Supreme commander and may not include any fortifications. Force A may not contain any Drop Pods or Flyers of any kind, and must include a Supreme commander too
The Battlefield
This mission is played on a 6 Ft. x 4 Ft. board. The terrain should include craters, ruins, debris, barricades, trench lines, gun emplacements and this is set up by the Force A player in any manner desired.
Deployment
The Force A player deploys all of their army anywhere on the battlefield not within 30cm of any table edge. The Force A player may not hold any units in reserve, even if a unit's individual special rules would allow them to do so. Once the Force A player has deployed all forces, then Force B player nominates a single table edge. The entire force of Force B that does not arrives via Teleporting, Drop pods or by air transport; move on from this table edge.
First turn
The Force B player automatically has the first turn. Then from 2 turn on, roll to see who goes first…
Game Length
This mission is four turns long
Victory Conditions
At the end of the game the player with the most Victory points has won the game. If both players have the same number of Victory points the game is a draw. Objective markers are not used
Primary Objectives
At the end of the game each player receives 1 victory point for each enemy formation that has been completely destroyed.
Secondary Objectives
Completely destroying the formation that has the Supreme commander is worth an additional Victory point. This means that the Force B player completely destroys the formation with the Supreme commander in it, will gain a total of 2 Victory point….

- Scions of Iron move VINDICATOR(Photo1) and shoot RETINUE, killing 1 and giving the formation 3 BM’s(Photo2)

- Emperor's Children do engage action with RETINUE(summoning 5 daemons) and targets the VINDICATOR and calls intermingled and drags in the BIKE(Photo1). The dice are rolled and the RETINUE wins the combat. The VINDICATOR is wiped from the board(1point) and the BIKE is broken(Photo2). The bike formation flees back behind rough going(Photo3)

The ARMOURED COMPANY is broken due to BM’s.The HEAVY TACTICAL(SC),VINDICATOR and the BIKE are broken(Photo2).The three broken Scions of Iron formations flee back to be near the HELOIS formation(Photo3).The ARMOURED COMPANY flees beside the ruins(Photo4)
- Emperor's Children move RETINUE(Photo1) and shoot broken HEAVY TACTICAL(SC) and kill 2, destroying the formation(Photo2)(2 Points)
- Scions of Iron double move PREDATORS(Photo1) and shoot RETINUE, killing 3 and giving the formation 4 BMs(Photo2)

- Game called and the Scions of Iron win 5-4. Both sides achieve the Secondary Objective for the Victory Conditions.

Summary
Wow want a game, I though it would be over by turn 1, I never see some many bloody six's rolled by Trent. Then have the Emperor's Children only be a point behind by end of turn three. If it had gone to turn 4, then Scions of Iron would have been in front by miles. It was very much night for swings in dice rolling……
Ok so after that game want would change,,,
- I need to tide up the terrain section and make it clearer..
- Give force A the ability to have 4 units on overwatch and not two like in the main rule book..
