Well Tuesday night has been mainly set aside for scenarios etc, well that hasn’t happen for months..So we final got around to getting one done..
SCENARIO 1: Double Delaying Action
SITUATION: A major battle is being fought to the north of this area and both commanders have received orders to move units off the main road at “Point Alpha” to reinforce it. The Commander of Force B is also tasked to take and hold the town for future operations.
ARMIES: The size of the forces used in this scenario should be between 2000 and 3000 points. Larger forces will favour Force A. No teleportation, gates, portals, air, or Titan units are used. An armies points should not allow more than 75% to be spent on CH,LV or INF, 50% for AV, or 25% for WE. Armies with skimmers will have a slight advantage.
TERRAIN: See map. The steep banked river is fordable by INF, but not AV or WE. These can only cross at the bridges. The road through the town is unobstructed. All hills are gentle.
DEPLOYMENT: FORCE “A”: Anywhere north of the river. Deploys the first unit, then alternates.
FORCE “B”: Up to 12” in from the south table edge.
SPECIAL RULES: FORCE A may never move south of the river.
Both armies may only leave the table via the road at “Point Alpha”.
FORCE A must exit 2 units via “Point Alpha” at the ends of turns 2, 3, and 4 for a total of 6 units.
GAME LENGTH: 5 Turns.
VICTORY: FORCE B wins if FORCE A fails to do the mandatory withdrawals OR controls the town and exits 4 units of his force from “Point Alpha”. Otherwise, victory is to FORCE A.
