- Steel Legion double move REGIMENTAL HQ, around the ruins(Photo1),It targeted the SPIRIT WRAITHGUARD WARHOST in the ruins in front of it, in the hopes it would kill a few, well it kill none of them, but broken the formation due to BM’s and so it stays put(Photo2)

Note: So the end of turn shot shows the possibility for the Iyanden Craftworld to break two formation and destroy another. So the plan was to prep the REGIMENTAL HQ and bring in the Vampire and wraithblades and all going well, there would be two broken formations and a destroyed one..Would the dice gods allow it to happen…….

- Iyanden Craftworld do a engage action with AVATAR(support fire from SPIRIT WRAITHGUARD WARHOST) and target INFANTRY COMPANY,(Photo1) and the dice are INFANTRY COMPANY(BM) wins the combat and the AVATAR, is wiped from the board(Photo2).The SPIRIT WRAITHGUARD WARHOST break from BM for failed assault and stays put. The INFANTRY COMPANY consolidates 5 cms(Photo3)
- Iyanden Craftworld move EoV, from the ruins to be in range for support(gets a DC due to failed DTT)(Photo1) and shoots the REGIMENTAL HQ, killing 2 and giving the formation 2 BM’s(Photo2)

Note: Well this turn went down the drain, but maybe I can still get the TANK COMPANY, which is the BTS for the steel legion. So again the plan is to prep the TANK COMPANY and then look at supressing the AA fire, so to allow the Vampire a run in with out been shot at by AA fire. Then I can move the SoV over to claim the Blitz…..So on with turn three….

- Iyanden Craftworld do a engage action with SPIRIT WRAITHGUARD WARHOST and target REGIMENTAL HQ and the dice are rolled the SPIRIT WRAITHGUARD WARHOST(Broken due to BM’s) wins the combat and the REGIMENTAL HQ is broken too(Photo1), so the SPIRIT WRAITHGUARD WARHOST, stays put and the REGIMENTAL HQ towards the spaceship(Photo2)
- Iyanden Craftworld try and activate SPIRIT WRAITHGUARD WARHOST rolling a one twice(SCR) and so the formation breaks due to BM’s(Photo1)
- Steel Legion do sustain fire with ARTILLERY BATTERY(Photo1) and shoot SoV,giving it a BM. The SL player was hoping to break the formations so it could not contest/claim the Blitz next turn(Photo1)
- Iyanden try and do a engage action with Vampire Raider, to take out the TANK COMPANY, but rolls a one(Photo1)
- Steel Legion do a marshalling action with the INFANTRY COMPANY(Photo1) and so shoots the Broken SPIRIT WRAITHGUARD WARHOST, doing nothing to it and then removes all but 2 of the BM’s(Photo2)
- Iyanden Craftworld move the SPIRIT WRAITHLORD WARHOST, so that its on the end of the ruins and then shoots the TANK COMPANY, in the hopes of killing a few. After the smoke clears there is one less Leman Russ and the formation get 2 BM’s(Photo1)
- Steel Legion do a march move with the VULTURE SQUADRON, from one flank to the other, to claim a objective marker(Photo1)
- Iyanden Craftworld fail to activate SoV, behind ruins on their left flank and so it breaks due to BM’s. So it flees behind hill(Photo1)
- Steel Legion do a marshalling action with the ARTILLERY BATTERY and so it move forward to help claim objective marker(Photo1)

Another fun and interesting game. Although the Eldar air transport section maybe in for a shake up, few heads to roll. Man talk about pulling your hair out, but that the way it goes…….
Anyway on to other things..(Yes no change from last time)
1) I feel the Iyanden list is pretty stable at this point and I can see no glaring issues when using it.
2) I also feel the points cost are pretty spot on.
3) The list feel right with the 1:2 ratio.
4) The wraith blades are best suit in vampires or coming through a portal. Although lacking a FF limited their use, for supporting fire.
5) The Wraith lord formation is worth the 350 points..
6) I think dropping the AC rule was the right thing to do…
