Well it Friday again and we manage another epic game…
So the following will be tested..
1) In the Strategy Phase of any turn place the Avatar within 15cm of a unit with the Farsight ability , before making a strategy roll. The Avatar counts as its own formation and may only enter play in this manner. In the End Phase of that turn remove the Avatar before rallying formations. Once the Avatar has been removed it may not return.
2) Swords of Vaul: Replace any number of Falcons with an equal number of Fire prisms for free.
3) Engine of Vaul: The second engine cost is now 200 points

- Biel-Tan do sustain fire with the VOID SPINNER(Photo1) and shoots the ARTILLERY BATTERY and gets 1 kill and is given 3 BM’s, which break the formation and so it flees to the hill (Photo2)
- Biel-Tan do sustain fire with the VOID SPINNER(Photo1) and shoots the ARTILLERY BATTERY and gets 3 kills (Photo2)
- Steel Legion fail to activate the Shadowsword and so move it(Photo1)

- Biel-Tan move EoV(Photo1), and shoot TANK COMPANY(BT shoot was used), killing 1 and giving it 2 BM’s(Photo2) and then the EoV, move behind the woods again(Photo3)
- Biel-Tan do sustain fire with the VOID SPINNER(Photo1) and shoots the TANK COMPANY and gets 1 kill and is given 5 BM’s(Photo2)
- Biel-Tan do sustain fire with the VOID SPINNER(Photo1) and shoots the TANK COMPANY and gets 1 kill and is given 5 BM’s, which breaks the formation and so it flees back to it deployment zone(Photo2)
- Steel Legion move shadowsword(Photo1), and shoots void spinner, doing a DC and breaking the Formation which flees behind the woods(Photo1)
- Biel-Tan move GUARDIAN WARHOST and then shoot the WARHOUND, giving it a BM(BM not in picture)(Photo1)
- Biel-Tan do a engage action with Rangers(get support from GUARDIAN WARHOST) and target the WARHOUND(Photo1).The Rangers manage to take down 2 shields, Warhound manages to kill a Ranger, and so the GUARDIAN WARHOST give support and manage 4 hits and the WARHOUND only saves one. The rangers win combat(Photo2) and the rangers(BM for hit) then consolidate a full move back into the woods(Photo3)
- Steel Legion move shadowsword(Photo1), and shoots void spinner, giving it a BM(Photo1)
- Biel-Tan march move ASPECT WARRIOR WARHOST, behind the hill, near the objective(Photo1)
- Steel Legion bring in MARAUDER BOMBERS and shoot Broken Void spinner and manages to clip the Broken EoV, with the second template. Killing the Broken EoV and the Void spinner due to BM’s(Photo1)
- Biel-Tan double move EoV(Photo1), and shoot Shadowsword(BT shoot was used) and manages to clip the REGIMENTAL HQ,with the second template. The REGIMENTAL HQ, lose 3 all up and get 4 BM’s. The shadowsword only gets a BM (Photo2)
- Biel-Tan move ASPECT WARRIOR WARHOST, behind the hill on the left flank(Photo1)
- Steel Legion bring in THUNDERBOLT SQUADRON and shoot Void Spinner, giving it a BM(Photo1)

- Biel-Tan double move EoV(Photo1), and shoots BROKEN Shadow SWORD(TK shoot was used) and manages to Kill the W/E(Photo2)
- Biel-Tan do a engage action with ASPECT WARRIOR WARHOST and target the SHADOWSWORD(Photo1). The dice are rolled and its a Tie(Photo2). the second round is rolled and the ASPECT WARRIOR WARHOST win the combat(Photo3).The shadowsword stays were it is(commissar)(Photo4) and the ASPECT WARRIOR WARHOST full back a full move to be near the Objective(Photo5)
- Steel Legion bring in MARAUDER BOMBERS and shoot ASPECT WARRIOR WARHOST, killing 3 and breaking the formation(Photo1), so the it flees behind the hill(Photo2)
- Biel-Tan double move EoV(Photo1), and shoot broken TANK COMPANY(BT shoot was used) and manages to kill 3 all up(Photo2)
- Steel Legion bring in THUNDERBOLT SQUADRON(Photo1) and shoot Void spinner, breaking the formation due to BM’s, so it flees to the woods(Photo2)
- Biel-Tan put GUARDIAN WARHOST on overwatch(Photo1)
- Steel Legion bring in THUNDERBOLT SQUADRON and shoot Broken ASPECT WARRIOR WARHOST, killing 1 all up (Photo1)
- Biel-Tan move the RANGERS out to denied ground to the Steel Legion(sorry no photo)
- Steel Legion march move the REGIMENTAL HQ, to contest two objectives and be over the half way mark(Photo1)
- Steel Legion don't rally Shadowsword and TANK COMPANY. Both side remove BM’s
- No aircraft were shoot down in the disengage section.
- Power of the avatar(Photo1) the Steel Legion concerned the game…Win to Biel-tan.The count back was 1100 to 1625

Summary
Well that was very interesting game. Thanks to Britt, for sticking at it.. I think if he had manage to rally the Tank Company and the Shadowsword at the end of the third turn. Then I would have been very, very hard press to hold that flank. Anyways till next time.
1) SoV- This was not used at all in this game.
2) Warlock and farsight- This was not used at all in this game.
3) EoV- Ok I still believe the “The second engine cost is now 200 points ”. is the right way to go.
