Well it Friday again and as always manage to get another game of epic in. Our game this time was 3000 points per side and this time it was Codex Astartes (NetEA Tournament Pack 2013) V’s CRAFTWORLD MYMEARA ARMY LIST..
Change made to the Mymeara Craftworld…
Individuals – The Avatar was added and the price of the Wraith gates went to 50pts each. The Autarch can only be placed in Aspect warrior Troupe
Hosts – The only Host is the Swords of Vaul Warhost and that can be 7 to 9 strong.
Troupes – The EoV, hornet & Guardian Troupe have been removed. The Guardian Warhost was moved to the Troupe section.
Other changes were…
The hornet is now an upgrade option for the wind rider Troupe.
Hornets speed and AT score changed….
Warp Hunters FF value changed…
After much discussion the UK epic version has been taken out…..

- Codex Astartes bring on MARAUDER SQUADRON(Photo1), and targets the Swords of Vaul Warhost, killing two and giving the formation 4 BM’s(Photo2).

- CRAFTWORLD MYMEARA does a marshalling action on Swords of Vaul Warhost, so move and then manage to remove all BM’s(Photo1)
- Codex Astartes bring Thunderhawk Gunship&Bikes and do engage, targeting the Guardian Warhost(The BM is from AA fire)(Photo1). The walker Troupe did it over watch fire and shoot the bikes and so another BM was placed. The dice are rolled and the Guardian Warhost wins combat(Photo2) The Thunderhawk Gunship is destroyed and the Bike formation is broken and the Guardian Warhost gets 3 BM’s, due to hits suffered(Photo3). The bike formation flees over the hill(Photo4)
- CRAFTWORLD MYMEARA does a marshalling action on Guardian Warhost, so move and then manage to remove all BM’s(Photo1)
- Codex Astartes double move Tactical formation(Phto1) and shoot the Swords of Vaul Warhost, killing 1 and breaking the formation due to BM’s(Photo2), So it flees back to its deployment zone(Photo3)
- CRAFTWORLD MYMEARA does a double move action on Guardian Warhost (Photo1)
- Codex Astartes move Warhound pack(Photo1) and shoots the broken wind rider, wiping it from the board(Photo2)

- Codex Astartes, do sustain fire with Tactical(Photo1), so shoot Guardian Warhost, killing 3 and breaking the formation due to BM’s, So it flees back to its deployment zone(Photo2)

So the Nightwings get a BM for been shoot at and the bomber gets a BM for been shoot at(I got four hits and the Bomber saved all of them)(Photo1), The bomber targets the broken Guardian Warhost and manage to wipe the formation off the table(Photo2)
- CRAFTWORLD MYMEARA does a double move action on Guardian Warhost (Photo1) and shoot the predator formation, breaking it due to BM’s, it flees behind hill(Photo2)

- Codex Astartes, retain turn and fail to activate, so get BM(Photo1), so shoot Guardian Warhost, killing 2 and giving the unit 3 BM’s(Photo2).
- CRAFTWORLD MYMEARA do sustain fire with Swords of Vaul Warhost(Photo1) and shoot the Warhound pack, Killing 1 W/E (Photo2)and the formation breaks due to BM’s, and flees behind hill(Photo3)
- Codex Astartes does a engage action with bike formation and target the Guardian Warhost(Photo1). The dice are rolled and the Bike unit is wiped from the board(Photo2)
- CRAFTWORLD MYMEARA ARMY do sustain fire with Lynx troupe(Photo1) and target the Tactical, killing 2 and giving the formation 4 BM’s(Photo2)

Summary
Well That was fun… Turn 4 may have seen a win to the MYMEARA.
Well more testing is need on the changes made, it was a fun game and the Codex Astartes could still have pulled off a win…with a bit of planning….
