4000 POINTS GAME CRAFTWORLD MYMEARA ARMY V’s IRON CLAWS

 

Tonight’s game was a play test of the CRAFTWORLD MYMEARA ARMY LIST, which is a Av List, written by Evil & Chaos. The game took place down at Britt’s house and was a good test run for the Mymeara list. Any ways onto the AAR.

2 x Swords of Vaul Warhost with Six Warp Hunters (old plastic falcons)

1 x Guardian Warhost with One Farseer unit, five Guardian units and three Wave Serpents

1 x Guardian Warhost with One Farseer unit, five Guardian units and three Wave Serpents and Autarch

2 x Hornet Troupe with Three Hornets(stand in firestorms)

1 x Lynx Troupe with Lynx( Revenant Pulse Laser)(Scorpion vehicles)

1 x Lynx Troupe with Lynx( Revenant Sonic Lance)(Cobra Vehicles)

2 x Night Spinner Troupe with Three Night Spinners

1 x Windrider Troupe with 6 Jet bikes

Terrain

The table was evenly covered with Forest and hills across the board, with a road running down the middle. The city was on the right hand side of the table. Please check the pictures for a better overlay

DEPLOYMENT

Both armies deployed along their base line, begin evenly space out for the Iron Claws.The Mymeara were more bunched up along the whole front.

TURN ONE

Mymeara win the initiative and move first sending a double moving a hornet squad down the left flank and shot at the Predator and only manage a blast marker on it. So Mymeara retained the initiative and moved the second hornet squad double moving it down the right Flank and shot another Predator squad, kill one. So the Mymeara retained the initiative again and double move a warp hunter unit into range of the War hounds and mange to place blast marker and remove shields. The iron claws start with a predator unit and wipe out a hornet squad on the right flank. The iron claws retained the initiative and fire a another predator unit at the warp hunters and killing four in the process enough to break the unit and it flees.The Mymeara double move a unit of fire prisms and shoot the war hound squad that was attacked at the started of the turn, causing two wounds all up.The Mymeara retained the initiative and double move the Lynx( Revenant Sonic Lance)(Cobra Vehicles) unit up and fired at the Devastator unit with 6BP and in the process caught the tactical unit that was close by, with both units taking hits and blast markers.The So the Mymeara retained the initiative again and move the falcon unit behind the forest. The Iron claws shoot their first artillery and take out two falcons. The Mymeara Lynx( Revenant Pulse Laser)(Scorpion vehicles) double move to the objective marker near the city on the right hand side and shoot the a Predator unit and destroy it to the last man. The Iron Claws focus on the Lynx(Revenant Sonic Lance)(Cobra Vehicles) and mange to kill one and break the unit which flees behind a hill. The Iron claws at this roll to past a initiative and shot the hornets with a predator unit, killing the whole unit. The Mymeara move a Guardian Warhost , then retain the initiative move the wind riders Troupe was moved into support position.The Mymeara retained the initiative again double move a unit of fire prism to shoot the warhounds again, gaining little for it. The Iron claws did some marshal moves to remove blast markers on units that had not be moved yet etc.Then Mymeara fired a Night Spinner Troupe and again got nothing for the effort.The Iron claws choose to activate the warhound squad an it fail to activate and there for broke.The Mymeara fired another Night Spinner Troupe and again manage to hit two units with the fire, but not doing much to the units. The iron claws move their scouts into a fire fight with the Lynx( Revenant Pulse Laser)(Scorpion vehicles) and wining the combat by one. So the unit flees. The Mymeara move the last unit into cover and it was a Guardian Warhost. So both unit roll to rally broken units the Iron claws get back their warhounds. The Mymeara get back the warp hunters and the Lynx( Revenant Sonic Lance)(Cobra Vehicles), but not the Lynx( Revenant Pulse Laser)(Scorpion vehicles). Both side remove blast marker with no problems.

TURN TWO

Iron claws win the initiative and shoot artillery at the Fire Prisms in front of the forest and manage to kill 2 and break the unit. Mymeara then move a warp hunter unit on the left flank to attack a predator unit wiping it out.The Mymeara retained the initiative and move the fire prism unit to hill with the objective marker and shoot at predator unit, destroy it in the process. The Iron claws fire artillery at the falcons killing 4 and breaking the unit. Mymeara then Night Spinner Troupe and shooting a tactical unit and doing more damage. So the Mymeara retained initiative and move Guardian Warhost into fire fight range with scouts on the right flank and winning the combat with little trouble, the Guardian Warhost occupy the buildings near the objective marker. The iron claws move tactical unit into fire fight range with the fire prisms on the hill near the objective, the fire fight goes for two rounds with the Iron Claws winning in the end, breaking the unit. Mymeara then shoot a Night Spinner Troupe at a tactical unit that had just won the fire fight doing more damage to it. The Iron Claws move their warhounds(green ones)to the front of the hill and don’t fire. The Iron claws then move a tactical unit over towards the city and then retained the initiative and move a Devastator unit in front of the predators. The end phase the  Mymeara roll for broken units and get none of them back. Both side remove blast marker with no problems.

TURN THREE

Mymeara win the initiative and shoot a Night Spinner Troupe at a tactical unit near the city and kill a couple of units and didn’t manage to break it.The Mymeara retained the initiative and move a warp hunter unit on the left flank around to shoot the whirlwind unit, killing one. So the Mymeara retained the initiative again and double move a warp hunter unit into range of the tactical unit near the hill on the left flank and manage to kill one. The iron claws then fire a whirlwind unit at Guardian Warhost in the building on the right flank, managing to get four hits and the Mymeara reply with four saves. The iron claws retained the initiative and move the Predators up and shoot the Guardian Warhost in the building on the right flank. Mymeara do a marshalling move on the Lynx( Revenant Sonic Lance)(Cobra Vehicles), moving the vehicles up to the forest and then removing all the blast markers. The iron claws move the Devastators on the right flank to fire fight range, with the Guardian Warhost in the building on the right flank. the fire is won by the Guardian Warhost but it breaks due to blast markers. The iron claws retained the initiative and move the warhounds(green ones) into a position were they can shoot at the Lynx( Revenant Sonic Lance)(Cobra Vehicles), kill the unit to a man. Then Mymeara move the Guardian Warhost in the city into fire fight range with the warhounds, dragging the Windrider Troupe with it. The fire fight ends in a win for the Mymeara, with the warhounds begin destroyed. The Mymeara move back to starting positions after the fire fight. The iron claws triple move the Devastators to the objective in the middle of forest with the objective in it. The Mymeara double move Windrider Troupe to the right flank and retain the objective marker. The iron claws then move predator unit into fire fight range with the Windrider Troupe and the predators are destroy and the Windrider Troupe is broken due to blast markers. The iron claws double move the warhounds over to the left flank and kill the two warp hunters on the hill near the objective. The iron claws retained the initiative and move tactical unit on left flank up on to the hill to take objective maker. The game had to end here due to time running out and by that stage the iron claws were in front with a 3 to 2 win.

Well i must say the Mymeara list is interesting to play and i was very aggressive at the start of the game, if i had manage to win the initiative in the second turn then i image it may have been different game. It been a while since i have played Eldar and they are my favour race. Any ways will let Evil & Chaos any of the issue with the list on taccom. Any ways may the dice roll high for you.
